- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases in on‑prem and/or cloud environments.
- Monitor database performance and tune queries, indexes, and resource usage.
- Implement and manage AlwaysOn Availability Groups, clustering, and replication.
- Perform regular backup, restore, and disaster recovery activities following NAB standards.
- Manage security controls including logins, roles, encryption (TDE), and audit logging.
- Support release deployments, schema changes, and stored procedure updates.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, blocking, deadlocks, and service outages.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow NAB change and incident processes.
- 8 to 10 years of hands on SQL Server DBA experience.
- Strong SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of backup strategies and failover processes.
- Knowledge of SSIS packages, SQL jobs, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell preferred).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Azure SQL or cloud hosted SQL Server.
- Knowledge of automation tools.
- Exposure to operational risk, audit, and regulatory processes.
