Experience in end-to-end ServiceNow BCM module implementation
Strong understanding of Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Risk Assessment, and Continuity Plans within ServiceNow Experience working on integration and configuration within the ServiceNow platform Relevant ServiceNow certifications (preferred)
Recent project experience in similar BCM engagements.
We need a mid-to-senior level resource with prior implementation experience.
Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow BCM module solutions to meet business requirements.
Perform end-to-end implementation of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) workflows within ServiceNow.
Develop and maintain ServiceNow scripts (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions) to support BCM processes. Integrate ServiceNow BCM with other enterprise platforms and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and Integration Hub.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine functional and technical requirements.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Create and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, test plans, runbooks, and user guides in tools such as Confluence.
Manage development tasks, defects, and user stories in JIRA, ensuring accurate status tracking and timely delivery.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT; resolve defects and optimize solution performance. Support platform upgrades, patch management, and ongoing improvements to the BCM module.
Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and L2/L3 incident resolution for BCM-related issues.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practice documentation.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on development experience in ServiceNow, with significant focus on the BCM (Business Continuity Management) module.
Proficiency in ServiceNow development: Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Workflows, Flow Designer, and UI Policies.
Strong understanding of BCM concepts: Business Continuity Planning, Business Impact Analysis, IT Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, and Risk Assessment.
Solid experience working within Agile/Scrum methodology — sprint-based delivery, backlog grooming, and iterative development.
Hands-on experience with JIRA for task tracking, sprint management, and defect lifecycle management.
Experience with Confluence for documentation management, solution design records, and team collaboration.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow integration capabilities: REST APIs, JSON, XML, Integration Hub, and MID Server.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, GRC, or Risk modules is a strong plus.
